Senior Software and Corporate Systems Engineer

About the Role

IAPED Holdings, SA is seeking an experienced Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to steer the corporate technology division at the holding level. You will be responsible for institutional systems, high-availability web applications, data workflows, and secure digital integration across the group.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain secure holding-level web systems (PHP, JavaScript, APIs)
• Oversee DevOps pipelines, cloud security, automated backups, and server reliability
• Lead corporate portals development, accessibility, and multi-language experience
• Collaborate with the Board and Executive Directors on technology roadmap execution
• Conduct code audits, security vulnerability assessments, and performance optimization

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of proven professional software engineering experience
• Proficiency in PHP 8, modern JavaScript, relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL), and Docker
• Solid grasp of web security (CSRF, XSS, rate-limiting, HMAC, cryptographic access control)
• Fluency in Portuguese; professional working proficiency in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in corporate group holding companies or multi-company systems
• Knowledge of Linux server administration and cloud deployments (AWS/Azure/DigitalOcean)
