IAPED Holdings, SA launched its flagship Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) program titled "STEM for Mozambican Women", aimed at accelerating female leadership in science and engineering.
The corporate program provides full university scholarships, professional coding bootcamps, and executive mentorship paired with senior directors at IAPED Holdings.
“Promoting gender parity and providing tangible access to technical fields is not only a social imperative, but a core driver of economic prosperity for Mozambique,” affirmed the holding company’s Sustainability Bureau.
The scholarship fund will expand coverage to provincial high schools and technical institutes in Sofala, Manica, and Maputo over the next academic year.
